The Jackal And The Drum: Once upon a time, there was a forest in Gorakhpur, where lived a lot of animals. In that forest, a pack of jackals also lived. One of them was very greedy. He always told that he feels very hungry every time. Thus, the Other members of the group drove away him from their group.
Thus, the Jackal had to search for food by himself. He was always busy for searching food here and there. One day, while he was searching the food, he found nothing.
So, he becomes very upset. So he started his journey towards the forest. Suddenly he saw a rabbit who was chewing a carrot. To see that rabbit, the mouth of the Jackal started watering.
He thought in his mind that it will be super delicious food for him. He started his step out very slowly and carefully. The rabbit could not understand the presence of any other animal.
Gradually, the jackal arrived near the rabbit and hide below a bush. The rabbit did not understand that anybody noticed him and the presence of any animal surrounding him.
So, he chewed the carrot in a very relaxing way. Then suddenly the Jackal came and attacked him. As soon as the rabbit realized that there was someone behind him, he threw away the carrot into the mouth of the jackal.
Thus, the carrot represses in the mouth of the jackal. Thus, the Jackal was unable to move his mouth and in the meantime, the rabbit ran away and leave that place forever.
Due to the repress of carrot in the mouth of the Jackal, he feels pain in his mouth and feels very upset because instead of having food, he feels pain.
The Jackal became very sad and sat down below a big tree. While he was taking a rest, he felt very hungry. He couldn’t live another day without any food. So he became very tense.
After taking a rest for a few minutes he again started his working and searching for food, suddenly he arrived in a field where a war happened some years back.
In that war, one country conquer the war which was very natural, and the other country lost the war, thus the war stopped. They left a lot of things that were used in the war, but the jackal naturally did not understand what the things were.
Suddenly he found a belt and thought that maybe it was the skin of any animal. So the Jackal started chewing the belt, but after chewing the belt for sometimes he did understand that was not his food and tasteless also.
When the jackal was unable to find this food again, then he felt very upset, and he thought in his mind that it is next to impossible for him to collect any food and live his life for more days.
Thus, the Jackal feel depressed again and decided to sit down. He did not find a tree for taking some rest. Though it was very natural as a big war happened in that place. Due to the bomb blasting and the firing, there was no tree. So the jackal moves forward to his path.
Suddenly a big storm came and when the storm was coming then the Jackal thought that there must be a big tree and that’s why the storm is coming so easily.
The wind started blowing then due to the blowing of wind a musical instrument which is known as the drum used in that war started flying.
There was a big banyan tree that had a lot of twigs. The drum was present under the banyan tree and when the trees of twigs move forward due to the blowing of the wind than that hit the drum.
Thus, a loud sound was created from that place and as the forest was very lonely and there were trees very small amount, so the sound of the drum started echoing.
The jackals hear the sound of the drum when he realizes that maybe it was the sound of another animal and after seeing the drum he became scared as he did not know what that was.
In the meantime, when the wind hit the drum and thus sound was created when he thought and another animal attacked him.
So the Jackal thought before giving him chance to attack him he should attack that animal and that’s why he moved forward to the drum and jump towards that.
When the Jackal jumped into the drum, he noticed that another loud sound came out from the drum. Then the Jackal understood that the object is not an animal, it is an object.
The Jackal started jumping again and again and when he jumped again to the drum and the sound was created repeatedly, and the Jackal enjoy the sound.
That’s why he continued his jumping. After sometimes suddenly the drum was broken due to the repeated jumping of the jackal and when the drum was break out then he found a lot of yummy food.
Seeing a lot of delicious food, the jackal became very happy, and he started eating without wasting a single minute. That’s how the jackal was able to fill his stomach.
