The Mice And The Elephants: Long years back there was a forest in Kanpur. The forest was deep and different types of organisms lived there peacefully. There also lived a herd of elephants. They lived together and they were very happy.

They never did any arguments with each other and a strong unity was present there in the herd of elephants which was a positive behavior that help them to build a strong bond with each other. All the members of that herd obeyed the orders of their king,

who was old but experienced. His advice always helps their group from different kinds of danger. The king was known as Gajraj.

Everything was so normal, but one day they feel that the water source of that forest became less day by day. The ponds and the rivers near that forest became dried due to the lack of rainfall. Thus, drought came into that forest.

The head of the elephant became very tense, and they observed that many animals died due to the lack of water. It is very difficult to tolerate the scenario of the death of different animals due to the insufficiency of water, but there was no other way to protect them from that pathetic situation. So they start to discuss the way to survive.

One of the elephants from their group told that he knew a place there was no insufficiency of water and the water level is very high, but the problem is that place is far away from that forest.

They have to journey a long distance from their current location to the new forest, and it is very difficult to migrate that long-distance are many elephants of different age groups.

Gajraj, the king of the group, heard everything. And told that it was very difficult to migrate such a long distance for aged elephants, but there is no other way, if they did not migrate then they will be abolished soon.

Gajraj agreed with their plan and then all the members also agreed with their king, Gajraj.

The next morning, they started their journey from that forest to the new forest.

On the other side, there lived a group of mice under a tree in the new forest. They also live their life very happily and always live together.

They also have a king. The king was very gentle, experienced, and always tried to help others. He always advised other members of his group to be kind and the other member also obeyed his advice.

When the herd of the elephant crossed the path from one forest to another there was the house of the mice and the elephants were very tired and exhausted too so to see the water source near them.

They become excited and started running, which becomes the cause of the destruction of the house of the group of mice. Thus, few mice became also injured.

To see the pathetic condition of the house and the other members of the group, the king also became worried and decided to meet with the king of the elephant.

On another hand, the elephant arrived near the water source, and they become very happy they started playing with each other with water and spread water on others’ bodies and became very happy.

In the meantime, the king of the mice arrived near the river. Then the king of the mice told an elephant that he want to meet their king. The Gajraj replied that yes, he is the king of the group, and please explain what you want to say.

The King Of Mice explain everything and said to him, “please change your migration route. It becomes harmful to the community of mice.”

Hearing all the events, Gajraj also felt sorry for him and apologized to him for everything. But a member of the elephant group told him. Why his king, Gajraj, was listening to the conversation of this little creature who can’t talk to his King?

To listen to this type of unkind words, Gajraj called him and advise him not to underestimate any creature of the world. Everybody has some qualities.

Then the elephant becomes silent and listens to his King’s advice. On that day the elephant changed their route and the group of mice noticed it.

There were also happy to see that the herd of elephants respects them and tried to understand their problems.

The time flies, and one-day elephants were very busy in the river and playing with the water than two hunters comes into that forest, and they noticed the herd of the elephant.

On the very next day, the hunters spread a trap here and there to catch the elephant on that route, which they pass daily.

Naturally, the next day when the elephants were crossing the road, some elephants became trapped in a net. The king, Gajraj was also trapped by the snare.

Then, the Gajraj advised the other members who were not trapped in the snare to call the mouse as soon as possible. They also listen to his advice and arrived near the house of mice and told the king of the nice everything.

Then the king of mice ordered the other members of his group to come with him. Then they set down on the back of the elephants and started their journey at that moment.

As soon as they arrived at that place, started to cut down the net with the help of their sharp teeth, and they became free from the snare.

Then the Gajraj gave him gratitude from the core of his heart. From that day they became a very good friend.

The moral of the story:- Don’t judge anybody to see his shape, size, or structure.
